To protect the integrity of leafy green vegetables, the Arizona Leafy Greens Food Safety Committee ensures that Arizona’s greens meet mandatory food safety standards upheld with audits conducted by government-certified inspectors.
AIB audits are backed my more than 60 years of experience in the field for food manufacturing, ingredients, and packaging. AIB conducts audits in more than 120 countries ranging from multinationals to small, independent producers.
The National Organic Program oversees USDA-accredited certifying agents and their certification of organic production and handling operations. In January of each year, the NOP receives information on certified operations from certifying agents.
